TEHRAN (IQNA) – The first international Quran competition of Croatia is underway in the Eastern European country’s capital city of Zagreb.

It is being held in the categories of Quran recitation and memorization (at different levels).
54 contestants from different countries, including Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Finland, Austria, Italy, France, Ukraine, Luxemburg, Kazakhstan, Britain, Norway and the Netherlands are attending the Quranic event.
Iran’s representatives in the contest are Hadi Movahedamin and Reza Nezhad Tabrizi, competing in recitation and memorization of the entire Quran, respectively.
Iranian Quran master Ahmad Abolqassemi as well as Quranic figures from Croatia, Turkey, Qatar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Saudi Arabia, and France form the panel of judges.
