According to the committee, senior Quran experts from around the country will serve at the panel of judges in this edition of the national Quranic event.
They include prominent figures like Mehdi Daqaqeleh, Mohammad Reza Pourzargari, Mohammad Hossein Saeedian, Gholam Reza Shahmiveh, Rahim Khaki, and Seyed Mohsen Mousavi Baladeh.
In the women’s section, the arbiters include Zahra Afkhami, Masoumeh Abbasi Nazari, Mansoureh Sarmadi, Raziyeh Jamali and Nasrin Nafezkalam.
The competition is slated to kick off in Rasht, northern province of Gilan, on Sunday, October 16.
It will be organized in the categories of memorization of the Quran (different levels) and recitation.
Iran’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization annually holds the contest to promote Quranic activities and memorization and recitation of the Holy Book is society, especially among the youth.
