“Risalat” Radio Station to Be Launched in Turkey
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Turkey’s Religious Affairs Department plans to launch a radio station named “Risalat”, aiming to investigate various aspects of Seerah and character of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
According to the International Islamic News Agency, Yuksel Salman, director of the department’s Religious Publications Office said that it previously launched two other specialized radio stations, namely "Diyanet” and "Quran” in 2013 and 2015.
He added that the new station will start its activities in the Islamic Unity Week on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in April.
He further stressed the importance of disseminating true religious information in society to avoid misunderstandings and division.
