According to al-Arab daily, the programs includes courses on Quran recitation, memorization and contemplation.
They were held in 21 centers with the aim of promoting the Quranic culture and values.
More than 9,000 Quran instructors taught the courses during the three-month period.
The centers are affiliated with Persian Gulf Arab country’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
Qatar is a peninsular Arab country in the Persian Gulf region.
According to some estimates, over 68 percent of the population of Qatar is Muslim, while there are also Christians, Hindus, and Buddhists in the country.
