Iran Nat’l Quran Contest: Women’s Competition Gets Underway

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The women’s section of Iran’s 41st national Quran competition kicked off in the central city of Arak on Tuesday.

  

The men’s section wrapped up on Monday with announcement of winners in different categories.

According to the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, which organizes the contest annually, winners will be awarded at the closing ceremony of the contest on October 15.

Iran’s national Quran competition is annually held with the participation of top Quran activists from across the country.

It is aimed at discovering Quranic talents and promoting Quranic activities in society.
