Hamas Deplores Continued Detention of Palestinians in Saudi Arabia

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A senior Hamas official slammed the continued detention of tens of Palestinians in Saudi Arabia,

It is regrettable that Saudi Arabia, which once supported Palestinians is now keeping tens of Palestinians in jail, Khalil al-Hayya said during a visit to Turkey, al-Quds al-Arabi reported.

He said Riyadh has a right to put on trial anyone who undermines the kingdom’s security but underlined that the Palestinian detainees in Saudi Arabia have committed no crimes.

Al-Hayya expressed hope that Riyadh would try to resolve the issue and release the detained Palestinians.
