Winners of Quran Contest Honored in Kuwait
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The top winners of a Quran competition held in Kuwait recently were honored at a ceremony in Kuwait City.
The Society for Reviving Islamic Heritage recently organized the competition on Tajweed recitation and memorization of the Quran, according to emeknes.com website.
The ceremony began with recitation of the Quran by one of the winners of the recitation category.
Next, Jassem Misbah, director of the society’s Quran memorization centers, delivered a speech, stressing the need for learning and memorizing the Holy Book.
He noted that the competition was held at different levels for men and women and that 8 top winners were selected to be awarded.
