Top Quranic Activities of World Shias Introduced
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Top Quranic activities of Shia Muslims in different parts of the world were introduced in the closing ceremony of the first edition of “114 World Award”.
The program was held on August 9 at the conference hall of the World Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Assembly in the holy city of Qom.
It was broadcast online in Persian, Arabic and English.
Organized by the World Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Assembly, the main objective of the 114 World Award was identifying and appreciating Quranic activities and creating a network of Quranic initiatives of the followers of Ahl-ul-Byat (AS),
The difference the award had with other such events and competitions was that no one was invited to take part in the contest but the organizers identified Quranic activities and selected and introduced the best ones.
In the first edition of the award, the focus was on arts, media and software production activities.
