The course, which featured lessons on Tajweed principles, reading and recitation of the Quran, lasted four months, Sayed Ali Abolhassan, an official with the center said.
He added that more than 70 women and girls took the course, organized by the center’s branch in Syria.
The closing ceremony was held at the holy shrine of Hazrat Zeynab (SA) in Damascus.
The top participants were honored at the ceremony and received certificates and awards.
The Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Astan organized various Quranic programs, including Quranic courses, competitions, and recitation sessions in Iraq as well as in branches in other countries.
