Iraqi Institute Continues Promoting Quranic Culture in Mali

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The international department of the Dar-ol-Quran of Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) Shrine is continuing Quranic activities in the African country of Mali.

 

Ali Abud al-Tani, head of the institute’s Quranic activities in Africa, said the body is holding different courses and gatherings in the African country, the official website of the Astan reported.

He noted that a collection of various educational courses is being staged for followers of the Ahlul Bayt (SA) school of thought.

The fifth edition of the course on learning tajweed rules is one of the courses underway with the participation of some 30 postgraduate students, he said.

Gathering to recite the Quran in public parks and weekly Quranic circles are among other programs underway in Mali, he added.

The institute, he continued, also seeks stage Quranic courses in underprivileged towns that are situated far from cities.
