The two sides held talks on development of cooperation in Quranic fields and holding joint Quranic programs, according to the website of the Astan.
They discussed jointly organizing Quranic circles, Quran teaching courses and Quran competitions, among others.
The delegation also visited the Astan’s Quran teaching center and talked with a number of its Quran learners.
During the visit, Sheikh Ayad al-Kaabi, the head of the delegation, underlined learning and reciting the Book of God.
He added that it is also important to act upon the teachings of the Holy Book.
Kadhimiya is a northern neighborhood of the city of Baghdad, capital of Iraq. It is home to the holy shrines of Imam Musa Kadhim (AS) and Imam Jawad (AS).
