TEHRAN (IQNA) – Thousands of Palestinians on Friday held morning prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Nasr mosque in Nablus.

Thousands of worshipers, including women and children, gathered at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound to attend the ‘Great Dawn’ event, despite the severe cold weather, according to the Palestinian Information Center.

Also in Nablus, large crowds participated in the event.

The ‘Great Dawn’ was held in honor and loyalty to the three martyrs who were assassinated by the occupation forces in the city of Nablus in the north of the occupied West Bank.

After the end of the prayer, the worshipers gathered in Al-Manara Square, chanting enthusiastic slogans and saluting the martyrs.

On Tuesday, Israeli special forces assassinated three resistance fighters from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in Nablus.

This event was organized at the invitation of the families and friends of the three martyrs.
