The call was made in a statement released on Saturday, after the Zionist regime’s forces stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and attacked worshipers, Al-Manar reported.

Hezbollah condemned the brutal attack as well as the regime’s violence against the people of Al-Quds.

The resistance group reiterated its support for the Palestinian nation and their heroic and brave resistance against Israeli terrorism.

Hezbollah added that the OIC, Arab League, and Arab and Muslim nations should fulfil their religious and moral responsibility to defend Palestinians in the face of terrorist conduct of the Zionist regime.

More than 150 Palestinian worshipers were injured when Israeli forces stormed the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the occupied Old City of al-Quds.

The Palestinian news agency Ma’an said the violence broke out at dawn on Friday, when the occupation forces raided the mosque through the Moroccan Gate, also known as the Mughrabi Gate, randomly firing sound bombs and rubber bullets at the worshipers.

Media reports said the Israeli troops also attacked paramedics and press crews, chased them in the courtyards of the mosque, and beat a number of them.
