Al-Quds Uniting Factor for Resistance Forces against Israel: Forum
It was organized by the Islamic Radio and Television Union (IRTVU) in Gaza City on Sunday.
The participants underlined that the holy city of al-Quds is an axis that unites the resistance front in the face of the Zionist regime.
Ismail Rizwan, a Hamas official, was among the speakers. He said the Palestinians’ fight against the occupation continues based on Islamic and national principles.
Rizwan underlined the importance of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa and warned Israel that the people of Palestine will sacrifice their lives to defend the first Qibla of Muslims.
He also hailed the Palestinians who recently prevented Israeli setters to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Ahmed al-Mudalil, an Islamic Jihad resistance movement official, in his address reiterated the need for unity among Palestinians to maintain resistance.
He also said Al-Quds has been the main axis of unity in the Muslim Ummah for decades.
The International Quds Day is a legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, who designated the day in solidarity with Palestinians.
Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, the International Quds Day has been held worldwide on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
This year, the International Quds Day falls on Friday, April 29.
