Semifinal Round of Nat’l Quran Competition Underway in Brunei

TEHRAN (IQNA) –The semifinal round of the National Al-Quran Reading Competition in Brunei got underway on Monday.

The competition is being held for adults for 1444 Hijrah. The fur-day semifinals began at International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas.

The competition is organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) through the Islamic Eminence Division.

A total of 54 participants, comprising 41 male and 13 female, are battling out for a spot in the finals.

The announcement of results and presentation of prizes and souvenirs to the contestants and judges will be held on Thursday at the same venue.
