The center was honored at the second international conference and exhibition of hospitals and medical centers (IPH 2023) here in Tehran. The event took on July 18, and was attended by various health officials and experts.
Addressing the event, deputy health minister Saeed Karimi said that Iran welcomed 1.2 million health tourists from different countries last year, who sought various medical services, especially infertility treatment.
Karimi also mentioned other popular services such as plastic surgery, eye surgery, cardiovascular diseases, cancer-related diseases, dentistry, and organ transplantation. He emphasized the need to enhance the role of insurance and ensure the quality and safety of the services for the patients.
The international event showcased the achievements and innovations of hospitals and medical centers, specialized clinics, medical and pharmaceutical equipment companies, medical tourism service companies, startups, and knowledge-based companies.
Royan Stem Cell Technology Company, the first private cord blood bank, was also present at the event as one of the prestigious knowledge-based companies.
