Israeli Forces Open Fire on Palestinians near Gaza Border

AL-QUDS (IQNA) - Israeli military forces on Tuesday opened fire on Palestinians protesting near the border fence between the Gaza Strip and occupied Palestinian territories.

"Israeli forces fired live ammunition and tear gas at gatherings of Palestinian youths demonstrating in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque near the Gaza border," an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported.

Hundreds of Palestinian youths have been demonstrating for nearly two weeks near the separation fence between Gaza and the occupied territories of 1948.

Angry youths reportedly set fire to rubber tires near the separation wall while Israeli occupation vehicles and snipers were deployed nearby.

According to eyewitnesses, "incendiary balloons were launched from Gaza towards settlements in the vicinity."
