Iran’s FM, Hezbollah Chief Discuss Regional Developments, Situation in Gaza

BEIRUT (IQNA) – The foreign minister of Iran and the secretary general of the Lebanese resistance movement in a meeting in Beirut on Thursday discussed the latest regional developments, including the situation in Gaza.

Iranian FM, Hezbollah chief meet in Lebanon

 

Hossein Amirabdollahian and Sayed Hassan Nasrallah exchanged views about the efforts made to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, stressing the responsibility of all parties in this regard.

The Iranian top diplomat highlighted the Islamic Republic of Iran’s diplomatic efforts in recent weeks to help the people of Palestine and stop the Israeli regime’s war crimes in Gaza.

He also said the temporary ceasefire agreement between the Israeli regime and the Hamas resistance movement has been reached thanks to the Palestinian nation’s resistance and steadfastness and the Zionist regime’s desperation in the face of resistance.

Nasrallah also hailed the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and resistance in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and underlined the full readiness of Hezbollah in all fronts.

He also described the ultimate victory of the resistance and the defeat of the Zionist enemy as certain.

During his trip to Lebanon, Amirabdollahian also held talks with Lebanon’s Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Najib Mikati as well as Hamas and Islamic Jihad officials.
