Speaking in a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in Doha, Qatar, Haniyeh described the Israeli regime’s strikes on the Gaza Strip from land, air and sea as unprecedented but stressed that they have failed to force the resistance to concede defeat.
After 75 days of atrocities and crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza, the resistance has remained firm and strong and has inflicted heavy losses on the enemy, he stated.
He said thousands of people, mostly women and children, have been martyred or wounded and thousands of houses and buildings have been destroyed in the Israeli attacks but the people of Palestine continue the path of resistance to defeat the Zionist regime.
In their meeting, the Iranian foreign minister and the Hamas official exchanged views on the latest developments in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Meanwhile, the Russian news agency RT Arabic reported that Haniyeh is going to travel to Egypt for talks on a ceasefire in Gaza.
No details have been revealed about the trip yet but the Palestinian resistance movement has already ruled out any prisoner exchange with the Zionist regime as long as the war continues.
Israeli media outlets have claimed that there are serious negotiations underway on exchanging prisoners but that a deal is not imminent.
