Preparations Underway for 10th Tarateel Sajjadiyah Int’l Event
Jamaleddin Shahrestani, an official with the Astan and head of the committee tasked with organizing the preparations, said the event will include research forums, theatrical performances, a short story writing contest, and a book fair featuring scholarly, literary and history books.
The research activities will last for three days while theatrical performances will be held at Bain-ul-Haramain (an area between the holy shrines of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS) in Karbala) for ten days, he stated.
This year’s event will be held with the motto of “Ethical Approach and Human Rights in Seerah of Imam Sajjad (AS)”, Shahrestani noted.

He also voiced the Astan’s readiness to print books written on the Seerah of Imam Sajjad (AS).
The Tarateel Sajjadiyah event is annually held by the Astan of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Sajjad (AS).
