The regime’s forces continued their attacks on the west and center of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip on Sunday.
They also carried out attacks in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
At least six Palestinians were killed and a number of houses were destroyed in the Israeli regime’s onslaughts on Shujaiya, Al-Mayadeen reported.
Israeli tanks shelled several houses while families were trapped inside.
There were also drone attacks on homes and residential areas in the neighborhood.
During their raid on central Rafah, the Zionist forces also set fire to Al-Awda Mosque, one of Rafah's well-known mosques, Palestinian witnesses said.
Since Israeli launched its offensive on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, nearly 38,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, most of them women and children.
