In a Monday statement, the ministry said that the competition, organized to coincide with the blessed birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), underscores the ministry’s dedication to the Holy Quran in terms of memorization, recitation, and exegesis.
Participants from a diverse range of countries, including Arab, Islamic, African, European, and Asian nations, will compete for this prestigious prize, Morocco 24 reported on Monday.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at the Media Library of the Hassan II Mosque Foundation in Casablanca.
