He said another priority will be boosting convergence and synergy among Muslim societies.
He made the remark in a Monday meeting in Tehran with Sheikh Naim Qassem, the deputy secretary general of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement.
Sheikh Qassem is one of many senior foreign officials who will attend the swearing-in ceremony.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Pezeshkian underlined the need for unity in the Muslim Ummah in the face of the Zionists’ barbarism.
He referred to the Israeli regime’s heinous crimes against the people of the Gaza Strip with support from the US and some other Western governments as a disgrace for the so-called advocates of human rights.
The Iranian president added that if Muslim countries had maintained their unity and remained a united Ummah, the Zionist regime and its supporters would never have dared to commit such atrocities against the oppressed people of Palestine.
He further praised the steadfastness of Hezbollah fighters in the face of the Zionist regime and said supporting the resistance front is a religious duty and a principle policy of Iran.

Sheikh Qassem, for his part, congratulated Pezeshkian on his victory in Iran’s recent presidential election and expressed hope that the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue on the path of progress and success under his administration.
He also elaborated on the achievements of Hezbollah and its victories against the Zionist regime in recent years.
The senior cleric further referred to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and said the Tel Aviv regime has reached none of its goals after committing so many crimes against the people of Gaza for months.
