IQNA – A group of Iranian qaris dispatched to Iraq during the Arbaeen season held a Quran recitation circle at the tomb of Martyr Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the former deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU).

Iran’s Dar an-Naeem Quranic group visited the tomb of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis to recite the Quran.

Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and former commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force Lt. General Qassem Soleimani were martyred in a US terrorist attack in Baghdad, Iraq, on January 3, 2020.

The Dar an-Naeem Quranic group arrived in Najaf a few days ago and held Quranic circles at the holy mausoleum of Imam Ali (AS) and then in Mashaya district.

They then visited the tomb of al-Muhandis to recite the Quran.

The group is part of Iran’s Arbaeen Quranic Convoy that includes some 100 Iranian Quran experts, qaris and Tawasheeh (religious singing) groups.

There are also 30 top qaris from different countries who study at Al-Mustafa International University.
