Registration Opens for Iranian Students’ Quran Contest

IQNA – The organization of the 43rd edition of the national Quran, Etrat and prayers competition for Iranian school students began with the launch of the registration process.

Mikaeil Baqeri, director general of the Education Ministry’s Quran, Etrat and Prayers Department, told IQNA that registration will continue until December 8. 

Students willing to partake in the Quranic event can sign up online via the ministry’s website, he stated.     

The competition will be organized in several stages, namely at the school, regional, provincial and national levels, he noted.

The official stressed efforts to ensure maximum participation in the contest in the first round.

According to Baqeri, there will be a focus on categories like Quranic concepts, prayers, Nahj al-Balagha and Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh in this edition.

He also said that the poster of the competition will be unveiled during an ongoing gathering of directors of the ministry’s Dar-ol-Quran centers.
