The participants carried flags of Palestine and banners with slogans in solidarity with Gaza and in condemnation of the Israeli regime’s atrocities, Arabi21 website reported.

They called for an end to the Zionists’ genocidal war on the Palestinian enclave and reiterated support for Palestinian resistance.

They also stressed the need for unity in the Arab and Muslim Ummah in confrontation with Israel.

The demonstrators deplored the international community’s silence on what is happening in the Gaza Strip, calling for a strong international stance in support of Palestine.

Similar pro-Palestine rallies were held in other parts of Libya as well.

The Zionist regime has killed more than 44,000 people, mostly women and children, and injured many more, in its genocidal war on Gaza that began in October last year.
