The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced on Friday that 776,805 individuals visited the graves of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions, while 468,963 worshippers offered prayers in Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif, a highly revered area in the mosque.
Access to this sacred space was managed through crowd control measures and scheduling systems, noted the authority, Saudi Gazette reported.
Among the key services offered during the week were multilingual support, which assisted 53,952 visitors from various nationalities, and sanitation efforts, which utilized 30,320 liters of disinfectants.

Furthermore, 1,790 tons of Zamzam water were distributed to meet the needs of worshippers. To ensure water quality, 202 samples were collected and analyzed.
The mosque also continued its tradition of providing nourishment for visitors, distributing 201,526 iftar meals in designated areas.
