Members of the competition’s panel of judges were present at the seminar.
It was organized by Algeria’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and Awqaf under the supervision of Awqaf Minister Youssef Belmehdi, radioalgerie website reported.
In this seminar, Tahir bin al-Ghuni Idris Na’im Al-Muhasibi, a Nigerian expert and member of the panel of judges, delivered a lecture titled “Virtue of Quran and Honor of Preserving and Practicing It.
Youssef bin Muslih bin Mahl Al-Raddadi, a Saudi member of the panel, spoke about the topic of the stylistics of Quran recitation in the past and in the contemporary era.
In his speech, Belmehdi said that organizing such intellectual and scientific programs is an additional activity to the international Quran competition in Algeria, aimed at benefiting and utilizing the experiences of the judging committee members.
He also emphasized Algeria's efforts to serve the Holy Quran.
The final round of Algeria’s 20th international Quran competition kicked off in a ceremony in Algiers on Tuesday.

The competition will conclude today, January 25, and the top winners will be awarded at the closing ceremony on January 26.
Among the finalists is Iranian memorizer of the entire Quran Ali Gholamazad.
