Hamas Says Withdrawal from Netzarim Axis Signifies Israel’s Complete Defeat

IQNA – The Palestinian Hamas resistance movement hailed the Israeli withdrawal from the Netzarim axis in Gaza as an indication of the Zionist regime’s complete failure in its genocidal war.

Hamas spokesman Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Qanou said the return of refugees, the continuation of prisoner exchange and the withdrawal from Netzarim exposed Netanyahu’s lie about achieving victory in Gaza. 

He noted that the occupation regime’s attempts at gaining full dominance over the Gaza Strip and partitioning it failed thanks to the heroic resistance and steadfastness of the Palestinian nation.

He stressed that what the Israeli regime failed to achieve in 15 months through attempts to starve the Palestinian people, systematic destruction and displacing people, will not be achieved by US President Donald Trump either.

Gaza will remain a free land and the entry of the occupiers or any foreign forces into it is forbidden, he added.

The Israeli regime’s military has withdrawn from the Netzarim axis in Gaza, allowing Palestinian civilians to re-enter the area, according to local reports on Sunday.
