Abu Bakr Shabanovic, announced this during a video message to the "World Islamic Quranic Assembly: An Effective Strategy for Realizing a Unified Ummah" which was held on Thursday on the sidelines of Tehran's 32nd International Holy Quran Exhibition.
Pointing to the efforts to promote the Holy Quran in Belarus, he said, "After a period of atheism, we have worked hard to revive Islam and integrate this sacred text into the lives of every Muslim."
He referred to some programs, including Quran competition, that aim to teach the Quran to children, youth, and adults.

Shabanovic also showcased a historic handwritten Quran, noting its translations in Belarusian. "We have adapted the Quran for Belarusian Muslims, collaborating with religious experts from Tatarstan," he added.
The new Belarusian translation, recently reviewed and approved by a scientific council, will be accessible to both Muslims and non-Muslims, he said, adding, "This is a request from our government and people to understand the the Quran in the Belarusian language."
