IQNA – The Iranian House of Wisdom in Vienna, in collaboration with the Written Heritage Research Institute and the Iranology Foundation, is organizing an international seminar on “Iranian-Islamic Civilization Identity, Components, and Historical Glory”.

It has invited professors and experts from all over the world to participate in the seminar by submitting their articles.

This event, which is scheduled to be held in person and online on October 23, 2025, provides a unique opportunity to delve deeply into the roots, components, and lasting influences of the Iranian-Islamic civilization.

The deadline for submitting abstracts for this seminar, which will be held in English, is September 22, 2025.

The main themes of this event include civilizational identity and spiritual foundations, the role of the Persian language in cultural continuity, tradition and innovation in historical progress, unity in ethnic, linguistic and religious diversity, as well as tangible expressions of civilization in art, architecture and literature.

Also, the theory of “Iranshahr” and urban-cultural models, the unifying elements of Iranian civilization throughout history, and the mutual relationship between Islam and Iran will be other key topics of this seminar.

Reza Gholami, the seminar’s organizer, described it as an opportunity for researchers to examine the richness of Iranian-Islamic civilization from different angles and showcase its cultural and spiritual heritage on a global level.

“We look forward to receiving innovative perspectives and research that will pass this heritage on to future generations.”

Abstracts (300-500 words in length) must be submitted via the official event portal at https://wisdomhouse.at by the specified date.
