This was announced in a meeting of the council held in Tehran on Tuesday, chaired by Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Abdol Fattah Navab, the Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs.
Akbar Rezaei, the organization’s deputy, said at the meeting that regarding the upcoming Hajj, the pre-registration schedule and the method of receiving invoices from the applicants, have been reviewed and planning is being done according to it.
There were also discussions about the beginning of Umrah pilgrimage earlier this month, with officials noting that 5,000 Iranians have been sent to Saudi Arabia for Umrah in the new season.
Alireza Bayat, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, emphasized that the duty of this organization is to provide better services and satisfy the pilgrims.
He said that in the Umrah operation, new packages for special days such as Ramadan are foreseen, which will be announced on time.

Umrah is a Mustahab (recommended but not obligatory) pilgrimage to Mecca which Muslims can take at any time of the year, unlike the Hajj pilgrimage that is obligatory for every able-bodied and financially able Muslim once in their lifetime and can be performed only in the first days of the lunar Hijri month of Dhul Hajja.
