Police said the first break-in occurred at Meadow Heights Mosque on Hudson Circuit about 2am on September 10, when the man forced entry and stole a donation box and a safe containing about $20,000 in cash, according to Sky News Australia.
Investigators believe the same individual returned to the mosque at around 1.20am on September 25. On that occasion, he left without taking anything.
According to police, the suspect’s face was covered during both incidents. He was dressed in a black Nike fleece hoodie and black tracksuit pants.
