Iranian Girl Wins Quran Competition for Muslim World Visually-Impaired

IQNA – An Iranian memorizer of the entire Quran came first in the Quran competition for Islamic world’s visually-impaired.

Zahra Khalili Samarin won the top rank in the 10th edition of the Quranic event, held from December 4 to 7 in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.

Khalili Samarin had advanced to the final stage of the competition after passing the preliminary round.

After winning the international Quranic event, she will return to the Islamic homeland on Monday morning.

The international Quran competition for the Islamic world’s visually-impaired was held in order to support talented Quranic youth among the visually-impaired, elevated their role in societies and improve their mental abilities in the field of memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran.
