NSU’s Inaugural Quran Conference, Seerah Exhibition Conclude in Bangladesh

IQNA – North South University in Bangladesh recently inaugurated its first Quran Conference and Seerah Exhibition, drawing the campus community together at the NSU Plaza.

It hosted the event under the title of "NSU Quran Conference and Seerah Exhibition 2025".

Shaykh Ahmadullah, Islamic scholar and chairman, As-Sunnah Foundation; Dr. Mizanur Rahman Azhari, Islamic scholar and chairman, Hasanah Foundation; Mufti Muhammad Abdul Malek, Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque; Maulana Abul Bashar Md. Saiful Islam, general secretary of the Insaf Foundation and Adviser of Jamiatul Uloomil Islamia, Dhaka; and Professor Mokhter Ahmad, Islamic scholar and director, Daffodil Islamic Centre, Daffodil International University; addressed the grand conference.

M. A. Kashem said, "For the first time in 32 years, an event like this has been organized where we were able to express our identity as Muslims."

Mufti Abdul Malek said to earn Allah's pleasure, it is essential to follow the guidance of the Quran that shows the way from darkness to light and helps overcome the challenges of life.

Maulana Abul Bashar Md. Saiful Islam said the Quran is a complete guide for building a meaningful life.

Professor Mokhter Ahmad said the Holy Quran is the best example of how a book can transform someone's life.

Dr. Mizanur Rahman Azhari said Islam is a knowledge-based religion whose teachings are simple and practical, though people often make them complicated.

A discussion titled "Muslimahs' (Muslim women’s) Challenges in the Modern Era" was also held at the NSU Central Auditorium as part of the progrma. The Seerah Exhibition began on December 8 and continued till December 12.
