
He has left for Doha, the capital of Qatar, to take part in the contest.
Safdari has previously ranked first in the student Quran competitions and participated in the camp for selecting Iran’s representatives in the international Quran competition for students of the Islamic world.
He has also recited the Quran in the presence of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and on various channels of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).
Those qualifying for the finals of Qatar’s international Quran contest have been selected from more than 3,000 reciters participating in the preliminary stage.

They are from various countries, including Egypt, Morocco, Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Libya, Nigeria, France, Russia, Tajikistan, and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Mehdi Gholamnejad and Seyed Mostafa Hosseini, are the two other qaris from Iran participating in the contest, Safdari noted.
“I hope that we can be a good representative for our beloved Islamic country, Iran, in this competition,” he added.
