Prominent Qaris Attend Quran Recitation Session in Tehran

IQNA – A specialized Quran recitation session was held in Tehran earlier this week with the participation of internationally-acclaimed Iranian qaris.

The Supreme Council of the Holy Quran organized the Quranic event on Wednesday night, after the Maghrib and Isha prayers.

Mohammad Javad Panahi was the host of the program, during which prominent qaris Hamid Reza Ahmadivafa, Ali Qassemabadi, Seyed Mohammad Kermani, Seyed Hamid Reza Moqaddasi, Mohsen Qassemi, Mojtaba Mohammadbeigi and Habib Sedaqat recited verses from the Holy Quran.

Also during the session, Mehdi Gholamnejad, who, along with Seyed Mostafa Hosseini, recently won top ranks in Qatar’s international Quran competition, offered explanations about the international Quranic event.

At the end of the program, Mahmoud Lotfinia recited the supplication of the month of Rajab.
