Iran Quranic Community Urges Maximum Punishment for Terrorist Rioters
Issuing a statement on Monday, the Quranic community thanked the security forces for their efforts to restore security and calm.
It called on the Judiciary to bring the rioters and terrorists to justice based on the teachings of the Quran.
The statement denounced the desecration of mosques, burning of copies of the Quran, and killing innocent people and protectors of security by rioters.
It called for maximum punishment for the armed rioters who have killed ordinary people and security forces.
Pointing to the involvement of the criminal US and evil Israel regime in the criminal acts, it noted that the Islamic Republic has faced various seditions and victoriously come out of them.
Violent rioters vandalized public and private properties in a number of cities across Iran on Thursday and Friday, killing some ordinary people and security forces and inflicting injuries on others.
The rioters vandalized public properties, blocked streets, attacked the administrative buildings and police stations, and injured a number of security and law enforcement forces.
Iran’s presidential office stated on Sunday evening that the president and the cabinet are in mourning for the deceased Iranians.
