
The demonstrations were held in various cities and towns, including in the capital Tehran, under the title of “National Solidarity and Honoring Peace and Friendship”.
They condemned the Zionist regime, the United States and their cronies who have committed acts of terrorism and vandalism in Iran recently.
They also expressed their disgust at those who have desecrated the Quran and mosques during the riots.
The demonstrators further underlined their support for security and law enforcement forces.
They carried banners and placards reading “Ya Hussein” and “Labayk Ya Khamenei”, and chanted slogans like “Death to Israel”, “Death to America”, and “Death to Hypocrites”.
Senior officials, including President Masoud Pezeshkian, Parlaiment Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Judiciary Chief Hojat-ol-Islam Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, and Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani were among the demonstrators.
Violent rioters vandalized public and private properties in a number of cities across Iran on Thursday and Friday, killing some ordinary people and security forces and inflicting injuries on others.
