
Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani took part in the program and delivered a speech, mohesr.gov website reported.
He said Iraqis have managed to come out of many calamities and tragedies victoriously because the Quran is in their hearts.
Higher Education Minister Naim al-Aboudi was another speaker at the event.
He said it is the responsibility of everyone, especially universities, to play a constant role in raising awareness about Islamic values and Quranic activities
Al-Aboudi also highlighted the higher education ministry’s efforts to elevate the status of the Quran and promote the culture moderation in universities.
