Official Highlights Int’l Quran Exhibition’s Goals

IQNA – The head of the 33rd International Quran Exhibition said promoting the Iranian-Islamic lifestyle and enhancing Quranic diplomacy are among the goals of this edition.

A ceremony was held in Tehran on February 16, 2026, to unveil the poster of the 33rd Tehran International Quran Exhibition.

 

Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Reza Arbab Soleimani, who is also the head of the Quran and Etrat Supreme Center of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance listed the strategic goals of the exhibition as follows: special attention to the institution of the family with the aim of promoting the Iranian-Islamic lifestyle; special attention to the issue of the family alongside the Quran and dedicating sections to Nahj al-Balagha, Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh, Mahdism and Ghadir; attention to Quranic diplomacy by inviting scholars, artists and activists from the Islamic world and utilizing new technologies and knowledge-based capacities.

He made the remarks at a ceremony held in Tehran on Monday to unveil the poster of this year’s exhibition.

The slogan of this edition is “Iran under the protection of the Quran” and this is not just a title, but a civilizational orientation and a pillar of identity, he stated.

“The Quran is the axis of our national solidarity and cultural authority, and we should never forget this fact.”

Hojat-ol-Islam Arbab Soleimani noted that the 33rd Tehran International Quran Exhibition will be held for two weeks starting on February 20 in the main hall of Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla.

It will welcome visitors from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM every day, he stated.

He added that the central themes of the exhibition include the Quran, hope-building and social vitality, the Quran, national solidarity and Islamic cohesion, the Quran and the Islamic Revolution, the Quran, prayer and criterion Mosque, the Quran and reforming the consumption pattern, the Quran, chastity and hijab, the Quran and the Great Prophet on the occasion of the 1500th anniversary of the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the Quran and enjoining good and forbidding evil, the Quran and Nahj al-Balaghah, the Quran and Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh, the Quran and Mahdism, the Quran and Ghadir, the Quran and the lives of the prophets and Infallible Imams (PBUH), and the Quran and modern sciences.

According to the official, the total area of ​​the exhibition is about 16,000 square meters.

He said the exhibition is organized in the form of 12 headquarters and executive committees, 11 exhibition sections with a cultural and content approach, and three store sections with a cultural economy approach, and will have more than 70 sub-categories, events, and specialized booths.

He emphasized: The Quran exhibition is an opportunity to better introduce the Quran and Quranic activists, transfer experience and present new achievements in the field of Quran and Etrat.

It can be a platform for introducing these works at the national and international levels, he stated.

Also speaking at the ceremony was Asghar Amirnia, executive vice president of the 33rd International Quran Exhibition, who said thinkers, scholars and artists from Indonesia, Egypt, Oman, Kuwait, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, China, Afghanistan, Algeria, Romania, Iraq, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan and Tunisia have announced their readiness to attend the exhibition.

The Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition is annually held during the holy month of Ramadan by the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

With various programs including specialized sessions, educational workshops, Quranic gatherings, and activities tailored for children and teenagers, the international event aims to promote Quranic concepts and activities.

The exhibition also serves as a platform to showcase the latest Quranic achievements in Iran and a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
