Weekly Meeting in Albania to Familiarizes People with Prophet’s Life
The Mosalla (prayer hall) of the city’s18 September District hosts the session every week, according to the Muslimsaroundtheworld website.
Giro Kaster is one of the most prominent historical cities in the country.
It is known for its unique architecture, famous castle, attractive nature, and deep-rooted traditions and customs, which have made it one of the most important cities in southern Albania.
This city, with its historical and cultural symbols, has held the meeting about the Prophet’s Seerah, a program that reflects the continuity of religious and scientific activities in southern Albania.
Giro Kaster, which has been the administrative, economic, and cultural center of southern Albania throughout history, has now revived its role as a space for religious knowledge and education with the weekly meeting.
The program is held after Maghrib prayer on Fridays under the supervision of the imam of the congregation, Zhentian Bulu, and the lectures are given by Sheikh Ermer Xiana, the Mufti of Giro Kaster.

These religious events have given the city a special spiritual and cognitive dimension and, by reflecting on the lessons of the Prophet’s Seerah, have once again revived the image of southern Albania as a living space for the dissemination of knowledge, religion and Islamic heritage.
There is also an Islamic school in the city, which has graduated a large number of scholars and graduates who have had a significant impact on the religious and scientific life of the region.
