The Polish International Book Fair began on May 28 at the PGA Narodniy sports stadium in Warsaw, and continues until Sunday.
It is considered one of the largest cultural events in Europe, attracting publishers, cultural institutions, writers and thinkers from all over the world.
The Islamic Union of Poland’s booth at the exhibition is displaying a variety of Islamic books and publications, as well as works on Islamic heritage and the history of Muslims in the country.
This participation demonstrates the interest of the Polish Muslim community in preserving its cultural and religious identity, and highlighting Islamic heritage as an authentic part of Polish history that dates back centuries. It also gives visitors the opportunity to get acquainted with the contributions of Muslims to cultural and social life, and the heritage of knowledge that Islamic institutions have preserved over generations.
The participation of the Islamic Union of Poland is not limited to the display of books and publications, but carries a broader message that includes strengthening the cultural presence of the Muslim community, and presenting a deeper image of Islamic identity in Poland, which is based on coexistence, civilizational partnership and cultural openness.
