Thousands Attend Muharram Mourning Ceremony in Tehran, Commemorate Martyred Leader
Thousands of people from different walks of life attended the mourning rituals near the place of where former Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei was martyred a few months ago.
This year, the ceremony is held under the auspices of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei
At the program on Sunday night, Hojjat-ol-Islam Seyed Mir Hashem Hosseini delivered a speech on the topic of “Calculations of Life and the Theology of Life.”
He emphasized special attention to spiritual concepts and considering God and divine promises alongside material calculations in individual and social life, and said the sacred defense of the Iranian nation in the Ramadan War is derived from the lessons of the great incident of Karbala and the sacrifices of Imam Hussein (AS) and his loyal companions.
He said is a clear example of paying attention to theology alongside material calculations and preparations.

Also, Mehdi Rasouli performed an elegy recitation in mourning for Imam Hussein (AS), the martyrs of Karbala, and the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and honored the memory and names of the high-ranking martyrs of the Ramadan War.
