Project to Eliminate Resistance Has Failed, Hezbollah Chief Says
In a speech at a Muharram mourning ceremony on Sunday evening, Sheikh Naim Qassem emphasized that resistance will remain stable.
“Today we will discuss two issues: the first issue is related to education based on the teachings of Imam Hussein (AS) and the second issue is about the current political situation.”
Sheikh Qassem criticized the educational approaches in some countries, where the Zionist regime has tried to influence and change educational texts related to Jewish history so that new generations are kept away from historical truths, while educational awareness is the main foundation of societies.
Referring to the failure of the project to eliminate the resistance in the region, the Hezbollah chief emphasized that despite carrying out about 10,000 airstrikes in Lebanon, the Israeli regime has failed to reach its goals and the resistance remains steadfast.
“We have now entered a new stage that can be called ‘the results of the failure of the US-Israeli project.’”
He further referred to the ceasefire and said there is no such thing as a ceasefire given Israel’s freedom of action.
“A ceasefire means a complete cessation of air, land and sea attacks and no destruction and no settlement in the occupied territories.”
He added, “We are in the stage of the failure of the Israeli project and discussing the issues that were raised a year or two ago is unacceptable. Today, we have the very strong support of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, the leadership and the Iranian nation.”
Sheikh Qassem said Iran emerged stronger after making great sacrifices and proved that it will not give up its rights.

He went on to say that America must end the Israeli project and Israel is an aggressor that must retreat. It is impossible to stay on Lebanese soil. There is no safe zone and we have a national army that is deployed and responsible for maintaining sovereignty. I am sure that Israel will collapse from within and what it is doing is a severe injustice against humanity.”
