
“We will respond to any aggression by the Zionist regime from a defensive position and within the framework of our legitimate rights,” the official said on Saturday, according to Al Jazeera.
“We will continue this process until the enemy is forced to fully observe the ceasefire,” he added.
The Hezbollah official clarified that Hezbollah's attacks in response to the aggression of the occupying regime are defensive in nature and their aim is to oblige the enemy to adhere to the ceasefire agreement.
The senior Hezbollah official continued, “The increase in military tensions by the Zionist regime is in fact a project to consolidate the regime’s freedom of action in the region, outside of any agreed mechanism between Iran and the United States, and this approach endangers the stability of the region.”
Earlier on Saturday, the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of Iran announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz in response to the breach of the Islamabad memorandum of understanding following Israeli strikes against Lebanon.
