Ammar al-Hakim Calls for Mass Participation in Funeral of Martyred Leader

IQNA – Leader of Iraq's National Wisdom Movement Sayed Ammar al-Hakim called on the Iraqi people to participate in large numbers in the funeral procession of martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

Al-Hakim urged all segments of Iraqi society to take part in the ceremony, saying: "We call on the Iraqi people to participate widely in the funeral procession of Martyr Ayatollah Khamenei."

The Iraqi political leader said that broad public participation would send a message of solidarity between the Iraqi and Iranian peoples.

Funeral ceremony for the martyred Leader will be held in holy cities on Najaf and Karbala on Wednesday.
