Kumayl Supplication Published in Pashtu

A Pashtu translation of Kumayl Supplication was published in Kabul, Afghanistan.


According to IQNA’s branch in West Asia, the book has been distributed among teenagers and the youth of the country to get them acquainted with Islamic sources and spiritual and religious teachings of Islam.



The 40-page book, also including a Persian translation of the supplication, has been published in 2000 copies.



Dua Kumayl was dictated by Imam Ali (AS) to Kumayl ibn Ziyad Nakha’i, a confidant amongst the companions of the Imam (AS).



Imam Ali advised Kumayl to recite this "Du'a" on the eve of (i.e. evening preceding) every Friday, or once a month or at least once in every year.
