UK Muslims Mark “Unity Week” with Love Mohammad Event

It was with the sound of the Quran - that all Muslims believe to be the words of God revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that this event began.

At a time when division between Muslims is being stoked, organisers hoped it would be a reminder of the pillars that unite all Muslims.

 The prophet of mercy conference is an annual event that coincides with the anniversary of the birth of prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the start of unity week organised by the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.

 Muslims from different cultures and sects attended, a reflection of the diverse Muslim community in the UK. Also present, were community leaders and politicians. In recent years, it sometimes seems that message of peace and unity has been lost. It is that crack that this initiative aims to mend.
