Islamic Republic of Iran Seeks Enhancing Islamic Unity

Iran’s cultural attaché in Iraq underlined that the Islamic Republic seeks the enhancement of convergence and unity in the Muslim world.

Speaking in a meeting with the officials of Iraq’s Union of Muslim Scholars on Sunday, Gholam Reza Abazari also stressed the need for unity among Muslims and their vigilance against enemy conspiracies, IQNA’s West Asia branch reported.
He further voiced Iranian cultural center’s readiness for helping to strengthen unity and solidarity among different Islamic schools of thought.
The officials of Iraq’s Union of Muslim Scholars, for their part, called for the Iranian cultural center’s cooperation in boosting of relations among Iraqi scholars.
They also presented a report on the union’s activities.
